There is a 3D printer in the US who will take orders for 3D models of the DS sizes – 5.1, 5.5, 6.0, plus the conventional 6.5 and the oversize 7.6 inch octave.
In case you’re wondering ‘why’ for the 7.6 ‘Goliath’ size, which virtually no-one would want to play, it’s incredibly useful for educational purposes – in particular to show male pianists with ‘average male’ hands what it really feels like for female pianists with ‘average female’ hands when they play the conventional 6.5 inch octave!
